These jobs would also suit doctors who just want to take time out to develop new skills and enhance their CVs. Our posts combine the equivalent of 2 days per fortnight dedicated to your chosen special interest as well as education and career development with practical patient-facing care.
The main duties of the post will include:Provision of care with responsibility for the management of patients presenting to the ED.Referral of patients to other specialities as appropriateDedicated special interest day per weekInvolvement in specialty and cross-specialty multi-disciplinary teams and meetingsInvolvement in relevant administration dutiesTeaching and supervision of junior medical staff and other clinicians as appropriateActive involvement in audit and clinical governance including service improvement activities
