A community support organization is seeking a Wake Night Senior Support Worker in Shrewsbury. This role involves engaging with young people to help them develop independence while providing a supportive environment. Responsibilities include crisis management and relationship building. An exciting opportunity has arisen in our young persons’ Supported Accommodation for Wake Night Senior Support Worker. Supported Accommodation locally aims to support young people to develop their independence and prepare for adult life while keeping them safe in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Are you able to engage young people? Can you think outside the box? Are you able to remain calm in times of crisis? If yes, this role could be for you!
These qualities are more important than prior experience; full support and training will be provided.
My Options - Activity Wellbeing and Care Services is part of Telford & Wrekin Council and provides a wide range of person-centred support to over 350 people, including vulnerable people of all ages and abilities.
We provide services including Young People’s Services, Community Activity and Wellbeing, Residential options, Community support for those living in their own or shared accommodation. Our services also include a Shared Lives Scheme and The Skills and Enterprise hub to help people develop skills and confidence as a stepping stone to work.
