Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Music Teacher to inspire students and foster a lifelong love of music. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school or college community and lead engaging lessons across a range of musical disciplines. Beginning September 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Music to KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)
  • Teach a variety of musical skills, including performance, composition, and theory
  • Direct ensembles, choirs, or school productions, and encourage participation in extra-curricular music activities
  • Prepare students for examinations, concerts, and other performance opportunities
  • Maintain accurate assessment records and contribute to curriculum development
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Music, with the ability to teach both practical and theoretical elements
  • Proficiency in at least one instrument and confidence leading group performances
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills as Music Teacher
  • A passion for inspiring young musicians and developing their talents
