Areas of work include Public Relations, Corporate Events, Employee Communications, and Buzz Marketing. The team includes professionals with backgrounds in public relations, journalism, social media, writing and buzz marketing. We’re looking for trailblazing, collaborative professionals from a variety of creative fields. As Music PR manager in our European communications team, you will be expected to lead and drive strategy, planning and execution of Apple’s PR initiatives for Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and Apple TV for Europe.
You will be expected to be hands on, working day-to-day to engage with reporters and content creators in crafting stories about Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and Apple TV that showcase its benefits to consumers. Responsibilities will encompass crafting and leading results-oriented PR programmes with music, entertainment, lifestyle, technology, national, broadcast and general business press; building new relationships with content creators; partnering with the editorial teams to develop product positioning, messaging and competitive analysis. The role will require you to travel to France and Germany on a regular basis, actively manage a network of European agencies, be highly organised and able to work under tight deadlines with a keen attention to details. Finally, the role will lead on the publicity around the Apple Music radio stations, their shows and hosts but not Apple TV shows.
