Job description
Overview

Based at Various locations throughout Angus. This job is Workstyle 1 - Fixed. In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated guitar and bass guitar instructor to join our team of instrumental education specialists in Angus.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching guitar and bass guitar to pupils of varying ages and stages, from complete beginners through to S6 pupils wishing to audition for music college.
  • Encourage and lead pupil engagement in solo and ensemble playing, participation in school, regional and national music groups, local music festivals, participation in external performance exams (ABRSM/Trinity College London etc.).
  • Convey the joy and importance of music as part of life-long learning.

You must have the ability to become a member of the PVG Scheme.
