Job summary

A well-known recruitment agency is seeking an Estate Maintenance Officer for a 2-month contract based in Luton. The ideal candidate will conduct health and safety inspections, perform various repairs and maintenance duties, and ensure all facilities are in good working order. A minimum of NVQ Level 2 in a related trade is required along with general maintenance skills such as carpentry, plumbing, and painting. This role offers £13.62 per hour with a weekday schedule from 08:30 to 16:30.

Qualifications

• Achievement of NVQ Level 2 in relevant trade.
• Ability to perform basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, tiling, painting, and decorating.
• Familiarity with the ANUK framework for landlords.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health and safety inspections.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance duties.
• Provide void repairs/maintenance.
• Complete painting and decorating work.
