We are seeking a Multimodal Operator to join our friendly logistics team. The Multimodal Operator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods using various modes of transportation, such as air, sea, and land. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the transportation of goods via air, sea, and land to ensure timely delivery
• Liaise with carriers, customs agents, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient movement of goods
• Monitor and track shipments to provide real-time updates to internal teams and customers
• Resolve any transportation issues and provide solutions to ensure smooth delivery
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and related documentation

Requirements

• Air, sea & or road experience is an essential requirement for this role- Working with a UK based Freight forwarder
• Start to finish operations experience is essential for this position- Dealing with shipments from cradle to grave
• Proficiency in using freight forwarding software.
• knowledge of customs regulations
• Must have experience with a UK based freight forwarder.
