Multi-Utility Project Manager - Watford

Salary: £70,000 + car + bonus scheme

Contract: Permanent (contract option considered)

Start Date: ASAP (flexible for the right candidate)

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Utility Project Manager to join a rapidly growing utilities business in Watford. This is an exciting time to come on board, with strong growth, a solid pipeline of work, and the chance to shape how projects are delivered as the company scales.

This role will see you lead utility projects across water, electric, gas, and civils, with a particular focus on electrical infrastructure and civils (including substations). You\'ll work closely with the senior team, managing projects from planning through to final connections.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the delivery of multi-utility projects (water, electric, gas, civils)
  • Managing project programmes, procurement, RAMS, work instructions, and final connections
  • Ensuring compliance with WIRS, NERS, and GIRS standards
  • Coordinating with clients, DNOs, IDNOs, IGTs, water companies, and subcontractors
  • Monitoring performance, budgets, and quality across projects
  • Supporting continuous improvement and the rollout of new project delivery systems
What We're Looking For
  • Proven track record delivering NERS-accredited electrical infrastructure projects
  • Background with a Self-Lay Provider (SLP) or Independent Connections Provider (ICP)
  • Strong civils knowledge: reinstatement, cable/pipe laying, utility installations
  • Working knowledge of WIRS, NERS, and GIRS frameworks
  • Skilled in managing stakeholders, teams, and end-to-end delivery
  • Confident overseeing budgets, schedules, and quality standards
