A prestigious educational institution located in Croydon is seeking a Multi Trade Carpenter to oversee carpentry work from maintenance to development. The successful candidate will work closely with the Estates and Facilities team, ensuring that school facilities are maintained to high standards. We are seeking to appoint a Multi Trade Carpenter who is responsible for all aspects of carpentry work from routine maintenance tasks to development works.
Under the general direction of the Director of Estates & Facilities and the day‑to‑day line management of the Deputy Director of Estates & Facilities, the role aims to maintain and develop the School’s facilities through high‑quality carpentry services, creating a first‑class educational environment. The role requires independence, initiative and sound judgement. Duties are set out in the role description and may include additional tasks at the discretion of the Deputy Director and the Director.
The salary range for this post is Point 26–30 on the John Whitgift Foundation Support Staff Salary Scale: £39,986‑£45,384 gross per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
