A major healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is seeking an operational staff member to provide comprehensive support in Hotel Services. The role includes portering, catering, and cleaning duties, ensuring hygiene standards are met. Candidates should possess an NVQ Level 2 in Catering or a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. This position offers a rewarding career in a supportive environment.
The post holder will provide comprehensive operational support across Hotel Services. The post holder is required to undertake Portering, Transport duties, Catering, Domestic and Linen duties as directed by the Hotel Services Supervisor in accordance with specification standards and Health & Safety legislation. Duties will include working in chilled & freezer units.
Main duties the post holder will undertake:
Portering:- Collection, transportation and delivery of equipment, linen, stores, waste, gases and catering supplies etc.
Transport:- Travelling between Health Board sites to carry out duties as required.
Catering:- Preparation and regeneration of meals and snacks for patients and staff working. Working in a chilled and freezer environment managing stock and supplies for patient feeding.
Cleaning duties as required by the department.
Linen:- Collection of dirty and delivery of clean linen as required. Responsible for distribution and putting away patient clothing. Curtain changing as required.
