Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Multi Skilled Static Engineer (Electrical Bias) for a role in Manchester. The position entails assisting in the operation, repair, and maintenance of commercial building systems, including HVAC and plumbing. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, the 18th Edition IEE wiring regulations, and a recognised trade qualification. This is a full-time Monday to Friday role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in related engineering roles.
• Familiarity with emergency lighting and L8 water monitoring.
• Capable of performing minor electrical and plumbing works.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation, repair, and maintenance of equipment in the building.
• Conduct servicing and maintenance tasks on various systems.

Skills

Experience in related roles

Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment

Understanding of basic plumbing or HVAC systems

Experience with BEMS systems

Ability to read schematic drawings

Education

18th Edition of IEE wiring regulations

Recognised apprenticeships

Possess a recognised trade

PPM Recruitment is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Static Engineer (Electrical Bias) in Manchester. You will be responsible for assisting in the operation, repair, and maintenance within a commercial building.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Emergency lighting
• L8 water monitoring
• AHU servicing and maintenance
• Fan coil servicing and maintenance
• Pump servicing
• Minor electrical works
• Basic plumbing including taps, syphons, flush valves, waste pipework
• Statutory PPMs in line with SFG20

Experience/Skills:

• Experience in related roles
• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
• Understanding of basic plumbing or HVAC systems
• Experience with BEMS systems
• Ability to read schematic drawings

Qualifications:

• 18th Edition of IEE wiring regulations
• Recognised apprenticeships
• Possess a recognised trade
