Permanent opportunity – Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Shift Technician. We are partnering with a leading organisation in the packaging and brewing industry to find a skilled Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Shift Technician. This permanent position offers the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art equipment in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, including brewing equipment, depalletizers, liquid filling machines, labelling, and glass bottle packaging lines.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults promptly to minimise downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.
Qualifications
  • A time-served apprenticeship in electrical engineering.
  • A formal qualification in electrical engineering, preferably an HNC.
  • Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of brewing, packaging, and bottling processes is advantageous.
  • A proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
