Job summary

A global manufacturing leader in King's Lynn is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and improve manufacturing machinery. The ideal candidate should possess an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, have hands-on experience in a Machine Tool environment, and strong diagnostic skills. This role involves responding to equipment breakdowns, conducting preventative maintenance, and working collaboratively with production teams. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits such as a company pension and additional holiday days.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Machine Tool environment.
  • Experience with CMMS 18th Edition Regs.
  • FLT / MEWP trained (advantageous).
  • Understanding of 5S and TPM practices (advantageous).

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on equipment and machinery.
  • Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to reduce production downtime.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and implement safe, long lasting solutions.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers, production staff, and external contractors.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

We’re a fast growing manufacturing business committed to innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement. Our production environment is powered by Conventional and CNC machinery— and we’re looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician who can keep everything running efficiently.

Electrical Maintenance Technician

Your main responsibility will be, but not limited to, maintaining, repairing, and improving machinery across our manufacturing site. This is a hands on role where you’ll work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and ensure our equipment operates at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

What We Offer
  • Salary Range: Up to £45,376.20 dependant on qualifications and experience
  • Additional shift premiums
  • 37.5 hour week (paid breaks)
  • Company pension 10% employer contribution
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holiday (increases to 28 with length of service)
