Overview

Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician
Location: Derby (DE55) • Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour

About the Role: We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our client's warehouse and equipment running smoothly. You'll carry out repairs and routine maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, as well as support with client visits and occasional material deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Assist with minor plumbing and electrical installations.
  • Drive a company van to client sites and deliver materials when required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure high service standards.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems.
  • Previous railway industry experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and commercial skills to engage with clients.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a van.
