Qualifications

THE ROLE – WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Diagnose faults and repair production machinery (automation, mechanical, electrical).
  • Carry out planned, preventative and continuous improvement maintenance.
  • Use SAP (CMMS) to record, report and update maintenance activities.
  • Escalate technical issues and support root cause analysis.
  • Complete risk assessments, permits to work and safe method statements.
  • Support reliability improvements, equipment checks and optimisation projects.
ABOUT YOU
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (minimum).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong fault-finding capability, including automation/PLC exposure.
  • Understanding of CMMS (SAP preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience with FMEA, RCA, PM optimisation – desirable.
