Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £48,500 (Dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Permanent (Temporary-to-permanent opportunities also available)

Shift

Permanent Weekend Role

  • Friday - 6:00am to 3:00pm
  • Saturday - 6:00am to 6:00pm
  • Sunday - 6:00am to 6:00pm
  • Monday - 6:00am to 3:00pm

This schedule allows for three consecutive days off - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Location

Commutable from: Wellingborough, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Corby, Kettering, Market Harborough, Leicester, Daventry, Rugby

Profile / Qualifications

We are looking for Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers, either mechanically or electrically biased. You do not need to be fully qualified, but you must be clearly skilled and experienced in maintenance. Experience in food production, general manufacturing, packaging, or FMCG environments is highly desirable.

The Role

You will be responsible for mechanical and/or electrical maintenance on both new and existing production equipment including:

  • Presses
  • Conveyors
  • Cutting, folding, and packaging machinery

Electrical fault-finding skills are important. An understanding of PLC systems is beneficial; programming knowledge is a plus but not essential.

We currently need 3 to 4 additional engineers to support the double-day shift pattern, with the ability to work every third weekend on overtime.
