Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG

Location: Leeming Bar | Salary: £51,300‑£58,289 (after 6 months) + Pension + Overtime | Continental shift system – split days & nights | Reference: Jo6758/SB

Based within one of the UK's leading specialists, privately owned FMCG manufacturing companies, we are looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to join our engineering team. The Leeming Bar facility will benefit from further investment this year to increase capacity, servicing major blue‑chip manufacturers in a secure, high‑speed food manufacturing plant.

  • Apprentice trained engineer in electrical engineering
  • Experience of PLC systems & automated machinery
  • Understanding of PPM systems within FMCG
The Role

You will have completed a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules, servicing equipment such as packaging, labeling machines, flow wrappers, conveyors, fillers, bottling lines, Krones production equipment, robotics, and processing machinery in a high‑speed PLC‑controlled automated environment.

In addition to this, you will have the experience and ability to work within a multi‑skilled team and take responsibility for the maintenance of automated manufacturing machinery and factory services, ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of engineering in this high‑speed food manufacturing plant.
