Job Title : Multi Skilled Engineering Technician (Days)

Location : Irlam

Salary : £44, - £48, per annum

Working Pattern : Full-time (Days) 6am - 6pm - 4on 4off

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi Skilled Engineering Technician to join our client's team in Irlam. Our client is a leading bottling company in the industry, renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation.

As a Multi Skilled Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the bottling machines and other industrial equipment. Your expertise in both mechanical and electrical fields will enable you to perform routine inspections, diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities :

Conducting regular inspections and maintenance on bottling machines and industrial equipment

Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults in a timely manner

Carrying out repairs and replacing faulty components as necessary

Completing preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimise machine performance

Collaborating with the production team to minimise downtime and maximise productivity

Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times

Keeping accurate maintenance records and documenting any changes or updates made

Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability

Requirements :

Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Engineering Technician in a bottling or industrial setting

Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex faults

Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals

Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating proactive and flexible approach

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive annual salary between £44, and £48,, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a permanent, full-time night shift role, providing stability and long-term career prospects.
