Job description

Ivy Resource Group is currently seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing operation in the Baildon area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking production environment equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, operating a large-scale site 24/7 and producing high-volume products for national distribution.

You’ll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently-carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver effective maintenance across production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
  • Support general building maintenance, including electrical tasks when required.
  • Manage spare parts stock‑monitor levels, reorder when required, and source cost‑effective replacements.
  • Identify faults and use your design/problem‑solving skills to enhance and improve equipment performance.
  • Prioritise workload effectively, balancing preventative maintenance with urgent reactive work.
Requirements
  • Mechanical background qualifications.
  • Electrical background qualifications.
  • Scissor lift licence (training can be provided).
  • Strong mechanical and electrical problem‑solving ability.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
