Job description

We re looking for Micro TBM operator to join our expanding teams internationally and throughout the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the TBM:Control the machine from an above-ground cabin using a control system to bore through the ground, while monitoring the machine's speed, torque, and hydraulic pressure.
• Monitor conditions:Continuously observe soil and groundwater conditions, slurry pressure, and the excavation process to prevent collapse or over-excavation.
• Perform maintenance:Conduct pre-start inspections, routine mechanical checks, and minor repairs on the TBM and its associated equipment.
• Manage operations:Handle the setup and dismantling of the TBM, manage slurry and spoil transport systems, and ensure all guidance systems are calibrated.
• Ensure accuracy:Use laser and guidance systems to maintain the correct line and grade for the tunnel, making real-time adjustments as needed.
• Record keeping:Maintain accurate operational and safety logs in accordance with project procedures.
• Team collaboration:Work with the site crew, supervisors, and technicians to address any issues that arise.

Essential skills and experience
