The Richmond Musculoskeletal Service are looking for a passionate, energetic team player with experience in customer service and team leadership.

The Richmond musculoskeletal service is very busy, receiving large volumes of referrals, telephone calls and patient appointments each day. The ability to keep calm under pressure, multi task and present a professional face to both colleagues and the public is essential.

The Administration Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of the administrative team to ensure work is prioritised and delivered to time scale.

You would be working closely with the clinical team/service manager to ensure efficient delivery of the various aspects of the MSK service to our diverse patient population by championing the Trusts values: compassionate, inclusive, collaborative and inspiring.

Main duties of the job
  • Proactively scheduling the administrative team's rota's to maximise team efficiency.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators relevant to the service and report to the service manager as required.
  • Consistently reviewing service processes/pathways looking for areas of improvement.
  • Providing both leadership and regular supervision to the admin team ensuring training compliance.
  • Assisting the service manager in handling complaints.
  • Assisting the administrative team with their roles/responsibilities with regular activity involving processing referrals into and out of the service, ensuring correct data entered on patient records, booking appointments and answering patient queries.
