A governmental department in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced MS Fabric / Informatica Architect to lead data integration for an 18-month transformation project. The role involves designing scalable architectures, ensuring data quality, and optimizing systems. Candidates should have over 7 years of experience, strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Informatica, and a willingness to initially work on-site in Abu Dhabi. This project contributes to a significant national initiative to enhance data governance and analytics capabilities.
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (on-site during the initial project phase)
Engagement: 18-month program
Start date: January 2026
The Abu Dhabi Ministry of Transport has recently expanded through the integration of several government departments. This rapid growth has resulted in siloed operations and fragmented data systems.
The ministry is now launching an 18-month transformation program to establish a comprehensive data strategy, streamline data across multiple applications, and build a modern, unified data ecosystem. The program’s core mission is to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization through robust integration, governance, and analytics capabilities.
As an MS Fabric / Informatica Architect, you will design and oversee the data integration and management architecture that supports the ministry’s enterprise data strategy. Your work will focus on enabling seamless data flows between disparate systems, ensuring data quality, and implementing scalable solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Informatica technologies.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Data Governance and Enterprise Architecture teams to align data integration architecture with governance policies, metadata standards, and the overall strategic vision of the ministry.
You’ll be part of a high-impact national transformation initiative, helping to shape how data is managed and used across Abu Dhabi’s public sector. This is an opportunity to architect data solutions at scale, working with modern platforms and contributing directly to the creation of a unified, data-driven government.
