Job summary

An international manufacturing company is seeking a Design Engineer (Mould Tooling) in Whitstable. This permanent position offers a salary between £40,000 and £50,000 based on experience. The role involves supporting production processes, designing 3D models, and using CAD software like CREO. Candidates should have a BEng qualification and at least three years of relevant experience, preferably in the automotive or aerospace sectors. Office-based working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm, and Friday from 8am to 1:30pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Design Engineering experience in Automotive or Aerospace.
• Currently or working towards Chartered/Incorporated Engineer status.
• Experienced using CREO or similar 3D CAD and product lifecycle management software.

Responsibilities

• Support team by investigating production stops and implementing design updates.
• Provide fast turnaround corrective actions for process/quality issues.
• Design, verify, and maintain 3D models and technical drawings for moulded components.
