36k basic, 12k bonus + + overtime + benefits

Hours

Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5.30. 1 in 4 Saturdays 8.30 – 12.30 paid @ overtime

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician / Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic / Car Mechanic / Car Technician for our client's main dealer in Taunton.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out servicing and repairs to a variety of vehicles
  • Performing diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults
  • Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest standards
Qualifications & Attributes
  • Qualified technician with relevant formal qualifications (IMI/City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical information accurately and concisely
  • Customer‑focused – prioritise customer experience and safety throughout the service and repair process
  • Team player – collaborate with other technicians during peak periods and take ownership of safety issues identified in the workshop
Additional requirements
  • Motor Vehicle Technician background within the UK automotive industry
  • Level 3 in City & Guilds or IMI
  • Full UK driving licence
  • The right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
