Job summary

A renowned building society in Edinburgh is seeking a Mortgage Advisor to deliver high-quality mortgage advice to new and existing members. The successful candidate will have recent experience in a regulated lending environment, knowledge of mortgage products, and relevant qualifications (CeMAP preferred). Our client, a renowned building society has an exciting new opportunity for a Mortgage Advisor to join their growing team. Reporting to the Mortgage Advice Manager, you will provide high-quality mortgage advice to both new and existing members.

Duties will include:
  • Conduct mortgage interviews and provide appropriate advice in line with regulatory requirements
  • Process and package new mortgage applications for underwriting
  • Manage retention activity and support additional borrowing requests
  • Maintain customer service across face-to-face, telephony and digital channels
  • Build strong relationships with intermediaries and internal teams
The successful candidate will possess:
