Overview

Local opportunities for experience care assistants in the Chesterfield area, with weekly paid hours.

Responsibilities

• As a Care Assistant you will support elderly service users with their daily lives. You will facilitate their hygiene, mobility, medication and nutritional requirements whilst making sure their physical and psychological well-being is maintained.
• Additional responsibilities include completing household tasks, keeping to health and safety guidelines, accurately reporting condition updates whilst following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Have 3 months experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training.
• An in date enhanced DBS check. Should your DBS have expired we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.

Employment Details

• This role offers ongoing hours for the right candidate
• We have full time and part time hours available
• Typical working hours will be 06:00-14:00 or 06:00 to 11:00 with hours available throughout the week
• Rate of pay ranges from £12.21 up to £16.24 per hour dependent on the hours worked
