Job summary

A leading group of independent Montessori nurseries in West London is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager (Trainee). This role involves supporting the Nursery Manager and leading a team to deliver high-quality care. Candidates should have a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and at least 2 years of experience. Competitive salary and benefits including funded training and holiday days are offered.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Room Leader or in a senior practitioner.
  • Good knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding.
  • A positive, caring, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Nursery Manager and step in when needed.
  • Lead your team to deliver high-quality care and education.
  • Create a safe, happy, and stimulating environment.
  • Track children’s progress in line with EYFS standards.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and staff.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and safeguarding standards are met.
