Overview

As our company grows and develops, we are expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Monitoring Technician to join our Environment & Safety Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride. We are looking for a reliable, flexible and committed Monitoring Technician to join our Environmental team. It is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently. While you may be performing the same array of tests day to day, the projects you undertake and the locations you are working from will constantly change.

Responsibilities
  • Trade effluent sampling
  • Water sampling and water compliance monitoring
  • Daily travel to client sites
  • Report writing and customer liaison
  • Follow written procedures and instructions
  • Be able to communicate verbally and in writing with the client when faults have been identified
  • Produce detailed site observations to be used to prepare technical reports based on current guidelines, legislation and best practice
  • Be flexible in working and have a positive attitude
  • Work in a safe manner, avoiding hazards to themselves, colleagues and clients
