Job description
Overview

Mobile Vehicle Technician. Location: covering the Northampton area. Salary: £48,720 basic plus overtime (overtime rate is time and a half, £35 per hour). Overall earnings can be as high as £60,000 depending on overtime. Hours: 40-hour week. Earliest start 6am; latest finish 2am with a 12-hour mandatory rest period between shifts. Rota posted 14 days in advance and can be subject to change up to 72 hours prior. Ref: 28764.

Role Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the breakdown team, attend breakdowns to diagnose issues and get the vehicle back on the road; otherwise ensure the vehicle goes back to the workshop.
  • Identify problems and advise the customer on the vehicle’s issues.
  • Vehicle servicing and general maintenance including electrical work and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Act as the face of the business with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • We are ideally looking for a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician in Light Vehicle Maintenance, but this is not essential.
  • At minimum, you must be Level 2 qualified to be considered.
  • You must have at least three years of full-time professional experience to be considered.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence.
