Overview

Mobile Vehicle Mechanic – Location: Aberdeen – Salary: £44k OTE (£40,800k basic) – Hours: 42.5 hrs 8am – 5:30pm Mon – Fri (1 hr lunch); Sat morning rota 8am – 12pm paid at time and a half.

We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Vehicle Mechanic working for our client in the Aberdeen area. Must be Level 3 qualified and got experience within the technician field.

The is an opportunity for a vehicle Mechanic to join our client's site based the Aberdeen area. My client is a company that prides itself on quality and very good money / company benefits. One of the UK's leading vehicle rental specialists that you may not have heard of. They have branches that cover the UK, Ireland and Spain, this opportunity is working in their Barking workshop maintaining and repairing their own fleet.

Within the UK they operate circa 49,000 Vans and 19,000 Cars so there is a good variety of vehicles to work on. They are passionate about creating a fantastic atmosphere at work, where every team member feels valued and supported.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and either restore vehicles to operating condition or arrange transportation to the workshop
  • Perform vehicle servicing, general maintenance, and electrical diagnostics
  • Deliver high-quality customer service, representing the brand professionally
  • Maintain accurate service records and adhere to health and safety standards

Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent), such as City & Guilds, IMI, or NVQ; Level 2 qualifications may be considered
  • At least three years’ experience, preferably mobile or workshop-based
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
