About the Role and Client

Watkins is a family‑owned M&E sub‑contractor with its Head Office in Ramsgate, Kent. Trading for over 60 years, we pride ourselves on delivering quality and reliability. We are expanding our Maintenance department and seeking an experienced Mobile PPM Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections, repairs, and maintenance works in energy centres/plant rooms and within flats/apartments across London and the South East
• Diagnose and repair heating and plant room issues
• Write detailed IT‑based reports of findings
• Work methodically and maintain exceptional customer service standards

Candidate Requirements

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• 5+ years' experience diagnosing and repairing heating and plant room issues
• Knowledge of district heating networks
• Commercial gas experience is beneficial but not essential
• Knowledge of heat interface units is advantageous
• Excellent technical knowledge and willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to work in commercial plant rooms and occupied properties
• You may be required to undertake a full DBS check due to projects worked on
