Salary: £36,463.36 plus Veolia benefits

Location: Veolia Andover Transfer Station, Longparish, Hampshire, SP11 7AQ

Hours: 47.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm

Every other Saturday 7am - 1pm (paid at 1.5 overtime)

What you'll be doing
  • Operating a Loading Shovel
  • Completing routine maintenance of plant and equipment, including oils and water checks
  • Operating the weighbridge system to accurately record weights and other specified details of vehicles to transfer waste material to and from the facility
  • Oversee site visitors and contractors arriving on-site
  • Issue instructions to drivers of vehicles entering and leaving the site
  • Monitor and record the safety practices on site and to ensure the smooth running of the operations
What we're looking for
  • Similar operational manual handling experience
  • Good working knowledge of health and safety
  • Good IT skills for recording data

Desirable - Weighbridge and mobile plant experience (training will be provided)
