Mobile PlantEngineer

Location : Harlow & Surrounding areas

Salary : £19-21 p / hr DOE + Overtime – Paid Door-2-Door

Hours : Working hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM (40 hours / week).

Are you an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer with a strong background in heavy plant machinery? Join a family‑run business based in Harlow, where your expertise will be valued and rewarded. Competitive basic with overtime opportunities - £50-60K OTE.

The Package :

Rate of pay DOE - £19-21 p / hr - Paid Door-2-Door

Based on a 40-hour week

Overtime when available is paid at x1.5 (all optional, the current team average 55 total hours per week)

Weekend overtime is totally optional.

CASE and other brand training courses will be provided as part of our Development commitment

The Role :

Service and repair heavy plant machinery at customer sites.

Diagnose and resolve issues with support from the service team and technical experts.

Manage parts ordering and report submissions, including work hours and updates.

Required Knowledge & Skills :

Experience with heavy plant machinery, including :

• Wheeled Loaders
• Excavators
• Track Loaders
• Shredders
• Screens
• Waste Handlers

Familiarity with brands such as Case Construction Equipment, Terex Ecotec is advantageous.

Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical schematics.

Knowledge of engine after-treatment systems (SCR, DPF).

Competent in electrical circuits, IT, and literacy skills.

Qualifications :

NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license.

Quarry Passport and Passport to Safety (preferred).

Air Conditioning certification (preferred).
