What youll be doing

As an Optometrist at Boots youll play a key role in delivering brilliant patient care using the latest tech working alongside experienced colleagues and supporting your community with clinical excellence. Whether youre leading a clinic responding to triage or mentoring others no two days are the same and your growth never stops.

Key responsibilities

• Leading clinics and delivering outstanding patient care
• Using the latest testing technology to assess eye health and provide expert advice
• Providing enhanced services from triage support to advanced assessments depending on store needs
• Offering clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor
• Collaborating with external healthcare professionals
• Keeping your clinical knowledge up to date and sharing it with others
• Playing a key role in your stores leadership team bringing energy and insight to every shift

What youll need to have (our must-haves)

• Were looking for Optometrists who are confident compassionate and always focused on doing the right thing for patients.
• GOC registered (or expecting to be within 6 months)
• NHS performer number (or working towards it)
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• A genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration

It would be great if you also have

• Experience supporting enhanced services
• A strong understanding of local clinical networks

Were looking for a Mobile Optometrist to join our supportive Boots Opticians team across Rushden Lakes Kettering and Wellingborough. Youll work in modern well-equipped practices (including OCT retinal imaging visual fields & 25-minute testing times) with a friendly team known for going above and beyond.

Key Details :

32 hours Sunday Monday Friday in Rushden Lakes Tuesday in Kettering / Wellingborough*
