Job Overview

Join the RAC. A guaranteed overtime option can increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities for up to 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and one Saturday per four weeks.

As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you will bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you will deliver first‑class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.

We will equip you for success from day one – with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit all provided. Think independence, career progression and real work‑life balance – with a 40‑hour week that keeps you moving and out of the same four walls.

Earn a market‑competitive base salary of £38,625, with the opportunity to increase your earnings up to £50,000 through bonuses and premium‑rate overtime. A full‑time 40‑hour week with Monday–Saturday availability (8:00 am–8:00 pm) offers flexibility and stability.
