Qualifications

• Must maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment including catering and bakery.
• Experience is required in completing electrical fault training for catering and bakery equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales.
• Deliver maintenance for catering and bakery equipment.
• Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.
• Perform general repairs and maintenance at customer sites as required.
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise the Line Manager.

Skills

Ability to maintain and repair electrical equipment

Overview

An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our company and work with one of our major UK supermarket clients. The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical and catering equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive work, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenance.
• Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.
• Perform general repairs and maintenance at customer sites as designated by City management.
• Identify non‑repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager, providing recommendations for suitable replacement.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 236 Part 1+2 (or equivalent) in electrical installation/maintenance.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
• AM2 / 2391 qualification.
• Full driving licence.
• Experience using a PDA system.
• Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, e.g. commercial catering/bakery.
• Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance within a similar retail environment.
• Completion of electrical fault training for catering and bakery equipment.
