Job Title: HVAC Engineer

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting an HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team located in Glasgow.

The successful candidate will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to both Plant, Equipment and Building Services.

Role Summary:
  • Identify and manage risks to the client through equipment on site, including critical spares, performance improvement, environment conditions via BMS, and efficient plant operation. Implement preventative maintenance programs.
  • Use new equipment and technologies to maintain a comfortable environment, liaising with the client on reactive and PPM tasks.
  • Fault find on HVAC plant and equipment, especially VRV air conditioning systems, with F-Gas handling qualifications.
  • Support team health and safety initiatives.
  • Perform as Energy Champion and Safety Champion for the site.
  • Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the maintenance team.
  • Complete Risk Assessments and related documentation following legislation.
  • Utilize mobile devices for work management via CAFM system.
  • Plan daily tasks using email and calendar tools.
  • Coordinate with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager on building services issues.
  • Act as responsible team member and deputize for the site supervisor as needed.
  • Work overtime as required, including nights and weekends.
  • Perform ad hoc duties and supervise subcontractors.
  • Participate in an on-call rota for emergencies outside normal hours.
