Field Service Engineer / Forklift Engineer / Mobile Plant Engineer / Forklift Technician

Up to £35,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime

What's On Offer

• Up to £35,000 depending on experience

The Role

You’ll be responsible for ensuring customers’ forklift trucks and materials handling equipment stay in peak condition.

• Complete servicing and preventative maintenance
• Attend breakdowns and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Carry out effective and efficient repairs on‑site
• Communicate clearly with customers on findings, repairs and next steps
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients
• Complete all required documentation accurately
• Work safely at all times

What I'm Looking For

• Strong mechanical engineering background with solid fault‑finding skills
• Experience in FLT, plant, agricultural, or heavy equipment maintenance
• Hydraulics and electrical knowledge (training provided if needed)
• Full UK driving licence
• Confident, professional communication
• Ability to manage your workload independently
• A proactive, customer‑focused attitude
