Job summary

A leading facilities management company is seeking an HVAC Mechanical Technician for night shifts in London. The role involves reactive HVAC services, ensuring all tasks meet contractual obligations, and maintaining a safe working environment. Candidates must have an NVQ/City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning and a CAT 1 F Gas qualification. A full UK driving license is also required.

Qualifications

  • NVQ/City & Guilds in Refrigeration / Air Conditioning is essential.
  • CAT 1 F Gas qualification required.
  • Full UK Driving License mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Attend, diagnose, and repair HVAC fault assignments.
  • Maintain site documentation and ensure safe working practices.
  • Keep plant rooms clean and tidy.

Overview

HVAC Mechanical (Nights) – Night Shift only - Sunday to Thursday - 10pm to 6am • Temp to permanent

Role Overview

To deliver HVAC mechanical reactive services across mobile sites in London

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that fault assignments are attended, diagnosed and repaired in line with agreed contractual SLA
  • Ensure that suitable spares are available to complete allocated tasks
  • Ensure that all relevant site documentation is held and maintained
  • Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are always prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices
  • To develop a good working relationship with all members of staff, subcontractors and the client representatives
  • Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment. To include the wearing of uniform and PPE always
  • Ensure up to date plant logs are always kept
  • Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of the organization are kept in a clean and tidy condition
  • To undertake lone working when and where required, subject to passing satisfactory training
  • Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate
  • Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's
  • Ensure CAFM system is kept up to date and that Reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured
  • Any other task as directed by the account management team
Required Skills and Experience
  • To hold an NVQ/City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration / Air Conditioning
  • To hold a CAT 1 F Gas qualification
  • To hold a Full UK Driving License
  • Good mechanical engineer experience
  • Good experience in reactive works and track record in working in Facilities Management
