A healthcare provider in Newport Pagnell seeks an enthusiastic qualified practitioner for their Urgent Care Team to deliver minor illness clinics. Ideal candidates will manage chronic conditions, prescribe medication, and support patient education. Current NMC registration is essential. The role offers a supportive environment focused on learning and professional development.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated qualified practitioner who is registered with an appropriate body to work as part of our Urgent Care Team here at Newport Pagnell Medical Centre. The hours of work will be a range of shifts between the hours of 0800 and 1830 Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will deliver minor illness clinics as part of the Urgent Care Team, providing: assessment, treatment, screening, health education services and advice to patients. You will have experience and competence in managing a general practice caseload including chronic case management, dealing with minor illness and injury and experience in diagnosing, prescribing and referring.
Newport Pagnell Medical Centre is a large training practice based in the town of Newport Pagnell, with two further sites in the area. We have 30,000+ patients and own PCN, The Bridge. We like to support learning and development and can offer NHS pension as part of our employment package.
