We are seeking a UK based, skilled Migration Business Analyst to support a migration onto our intermediary platform. This role involves working closely with business and technical teams to ensure a seamless transition from one platform to another.
Responsibilities
- Lead the asset migration working with key stakeholders within Operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for the migration
- Support colleagues to analyse legacy systems and map data to the new intermediary platform
- Develop and document the migration strategy, including defining the approach (e.g., lift-and-shift, re-platforming)
- Oversee the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure data integrity and consistency
- Support Test manager to validate the migration, including static and dynamic data testing
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the migration process
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to report progress and address concerns
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the migration process, including data mappings, test plans, and risk assessments
Qualifications
- Experience in business analysis
- Wrap Platform migrations: Has had experience of working on multiple UK Wrap Platform migrations
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools, and data modelling
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools
- Certifications: Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP) is a plus
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with intermediary platforms
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with cloud integration and modern data platforms
