Job summary

A contracting company is seeking an experienced MIG Welder for a position in Gravesend. The role requires strong MIG welding skills, the ability to interpret fabrication drawings, and general workshop experience. You'll be involved in welding steel components, assisting in fabrication tasks, and maintaining a safe work environment. This is a temporary contract from 16th September until 30th September with a rate of £20 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Strong MIG welding experience with proven ability to produce clean, high-quality welds.
  • Ability to interpret and work from basic fabrication drawings.
  • Previous workshop-based fabrication experience preferred.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

  • Using band saws for cutting and carrying out roter broch drilling.
  • Assisting with general fabrication tasks in a workshop environment.
  • Working from basic fabrication drawings and following instructions from supervisors.

Rate: £20 per hour

Start Date: Tuesday 16th September

Contract Longevity: Until 30th September

Work Hours: 07:00 - 16:00 (8 hours paid)

Location: Gravesend, Kent
