MIG Welder Fabricator – Downton, Salisbury

MIG Welder Fabricator Salary: £15.00 to £20.00 per hour

Role and responsibilities

• Read straightforward drawings, mark out, prep, and get set
• MIG weld mild steel from 1 mm+, small and large fabrications
• Square, clamp, and check to 1 mm tolerances with sensible measuring
• Dress, fettle, and finish to a clean standard
• Lend a hand across the bay to keep jobs moving

Key skills

• Confident MIG basics on mild steel, improvers considered
• Able to read drawings and measure accurately to 1 mm
• Comfortable switching between small parts and bigger assemblies
• Pride in neat welds, tidy work area, and getting first time right
