Job description

My client is currently seeking a skilled Welder to join their specialist team. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in Mig welding with various materials including Stainless steel.

Mig Welder Job Overview
  • MIG weld stainless steel and titanium to a high standard, with fine aesthetic and structural quality.
  • Weld in inert atmosphere (glovebox) where required for titanium components.
  • Operate fabrication equipment including sizing machines, rolling machines, seam welders, and presses.
  • Participate in on-vehicle development work, using vehicle lifts to trial and adjust prototype systems in situ.
  • Contribute to the design and fabrication of prototype and production tooling to support manufacturing and testing.
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to iterate and develop functional prototype parts.
  • Inspect components for dimensional accuracy and overall quality throughout the build process.
Mig Welder Job Requirements
  • Proven expertise in MIG welding, particularly with stainless steel and titanium.
  • Skilled in hand-forming and sheet metal development, particularly in low-volume, prototype, or motorsport environments.
  • Comfortable working from verbal briefs and minimal documentation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing aesthetic, high-integrity welds and components.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.
Mig Welder Salary & Benefits

Full time - Permanent position
Monday to Friday
Working hours - 8am - 4pm with 30 mins unpaid lunch (37.5 hours per week).
Salary - £25,000.00 - £31,000 per year DOE
