A leading NHS trust in the UK is seeking an experienced Midwifery Clinical Support Midwife to support clinical education within a maternity setting. The ideal candidate will coach newly qualified staff and students, provide clinical expertise, and foster a positive working environment. Flexible working options are available, and the role requires a commitment to supporting the development of others.
We are looking for an experienced midwife who has extensive experience across multiple departments within the maternity setting to join the clinical education team. As a Midwifery Clinical Support Midwife you would be supporting all grades of students and staff within the clinical environment to develop their clinical skills.
The successful post holder will be supernumerary to the clinical workforce and required to provide support to staff across all departments depending upon daily needs. They must demonstrate empathy, patience, passion for the profession, and be able to provide pastoral support to others, fostering a positive working environment and supporting career development through coaching and mentoring.
