Midwife Band 6

The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an enthusiastic, band 6 Midwife to join the midwifery team.

This position is open to midwives who are interested in working within a Continuity of Carer model and are able to meet the challenge of delivering high standards of care, ensuring that each woman’s journey to motherhood is an individualised experience.

We can offer an exciting and varied working environment both in the Community and Hospital settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work as part of the Multi‑professional team providing a high standard of antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal midwifery care to women and their families within the integrated maternity service.
  • To work as part of a continuity of carer team or rotate within all clinical areas within maternity services to support professional development and maintain safe standards of midwifery care in line with service provision.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • You must hold NMC midwifery registration.
  • You will be expected to be able to show evidence of current practice/updating.
