We're now looking for a skilled MET Technician to join our expanding team in Preston.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician, you’ll play a key role in restoring vehicles to their pre‑accident condition. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Dismantling and reassembling mechanical, electrical, and trim components with precision and care
  • Performing four‑wheel alignment checks and repairs using manufacturer‑recommended methods
  • Ensuring vehicles are properly protected throughout the repair process
  • Collaborating with Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Production teams to ensure efficient workflows
  • Adhering to health & safety standards, including COSHH requirements and appropriate PPE usage
  • Working with electric vehicles and staying updated on emerging vehicle technologies
About You

We’re looking for someone who is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a team environment. Ideally, you’ll have :

  • IMI / ATA MET Technician qualification (or equivalent experience in a Bodyshop environment)
  • Proven experience in accident repair and vehicle rebuilds
  • A full UK driving licence (required)
  • The ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
  • A strong commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge and / or experience working with electric vehicles is a plus

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8‑hour shifts (no weekends!)
