Job description

Our Motor Trade Client is a nationwide accident repair centre based in Bristol and they require an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their busy team of Bodyshop productive.

• 50‑hour working week, 7:00 am‑5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Overtime on Saturdays is available as well, subject to business demand.

Duties

• Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles in line with our client’s high standards.
• Familiarity with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to be successful in the role.
• To identify additional repair work and liaise with the Bodyshop advisor.
• Communicating effectively with other team members.
• Carry out quality controls.

Requirements

• Ideally have a recognised qualification in automotive MET/vehicle body repair or be working towards an IMI qualification.
• ATA qualification would be beneficial.
• Experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair centre.
