Merchandising Assistant – 12‑month FTC

Right stock, right place, right time – it’s a merchandising thing! We’re on the lookout for a Merchandising Assistant to support our Cook and Dine category in a fast‑moving environment. You will help build and execute a unique product proposition across all channels to meet our customers’ needs and deliver commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Analyse past buying behaviours and track current sales performance of George products in our stores.
• Work closely with suppliers and Buyers to agree budgets and trading plans that optimise sales.
• Use data to react to market trends and support decision‑making that impacts the bottom line.
• Help build and execute the product proposition across all channels.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Commercially aware and driven by financial success.
• Ability to interpret data and focus on what delivers value to the business.
• Agile, flexible, open to change with a test‑and‑learn mindset and comfortable working at pace.
