Location: Wrexham, UK

Salary: £28,000.00 – £32,000.00

Hours: Monday – Friday (Hybrid work available)

What you’ll do
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Support negotiations on supplier pricing, lead times, and payment terms.
  • Assist in producing stock and sales performance reports, identifying opportunities to boost revenue.
  • Manage pricing across categories to remain competitive while protecting margins.
  • Optimise product performance through understanding your range, competitors, and the wider retail landscape.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to maximise sales, profit, and efficient stock management.
  • Continuously review products, feedback, and refund data to identify improvements or new opportunities.
  • Analyse sales trends, inventory levels, and production schedules to create purchase orders within budget.
  • Forecast demand accurately to maintain stock availability and avoid out-of-stock situations.
What you’ll bring
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar fast‑paced role, with essential experience in buying or purchasing.
  • Experience working with overseas suppliers, particularly within East Asia.
  • Ambition, curiosity, and a desire to grow within the company.
  • Strong negotiation abilities and commercial awareness, with the ability to identify trends and assess their impact on stock.
  • Proficiency in Excel for managing order sheets and producing stock and sales reports, alongside confidence using wider Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to extract and interpret data, with a strong understanding of business systems.
  • A proactive and reactive approach, able to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High levels of organisation, self‑motivation, and attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of WSSI tools and category planning.
